Sharon Finley

Sharon is a retired National Board certified elementary school teacher.  She has always had a love for dance.  As a child, she grew up watching the Grand Ole Opry cloggers and emulated their dance moves while wearing her patten leather church shoes on her family's living room hardwood floors.  Since that time, she has realized her childhood dance dreams and combined that passion with her teaching profession. She is the director of the 2017 Clogging Champions of America national title traditional team.  She was inducted to the 2007 America's Clogging Hall of Fame All American team and the recipient of the National Clogging and Hoedown Council's esteemed Betsy Farlow award for the preservation of Southern Appalachian Clogging.  She is a member of our adult clogging competition team - Mountain Pride.

Cullen Finley
